Dr. Suresha K B is the Associate Professor of Dairy Technology in  University of Agricultural Sciences, GKVK, Bengaluru, Karnataka. 

Nutri-cereals or millets are being promoted in a big way by both the State and Central Governments as nutria-cereals and climate resilient crops that hold the promise of meeting the nutritional security of the nation. FAO has declared 2023 as International Year of Millets. The Centre of Excellence on Small Millets at GKVK is established by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, GoI, which has the necessary infrastructure, facilities and expertise and serving  as the lead centre in promoting small millets in all spheres. The present topic covers importance, processing and Value addition of the millets.
