Dr. Bir Singh Negi is the Advisor in APEDA ( Ministry of Commerce & Industries), New Delhi. Earlier he was Mission Director (HMNEH) and Director Horticulture, Govt of Uttarakhand from March 2012 to February 2018 and retired as Additional Commissioner, from Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Govt of India in March 2018. Dr. Bir Singh Negi was also the Director, Tea Board, Director, HRDI, CEO, SMPB, Govt of Uttarakhand. His areas of interest are horticulture, post harvest management , food processing, organic farming etc.
