Thank you for your kind enquiry about Melia Dubia.Now a days the people and farmers are very much interested in cultivating the shortterm tree plantation like Melia dubia ,gmelina arborea & bamboo. among these tree plantations the melia dubia is first grading in yield and usage.

The cultivatiomn period of melia dubia will be minimum 7 yrs & maximum 8 years.

The yield pattern will be minimum 750 kgs after deducting the top portion of the tree (will be expected and approximatelyThat also valuable timber i.e it can be used for fire wood ,biomass project.(The rate of the small park of the tree will be Rs 3000/-/per ton)


After seven years the melia dubia will attain the 150 cms girth.So we can get 15 to 20 cubic feet of timbers.So the yield of the melia dubia by weighment aswellas cft measure you can get minimum Rs 5000/-per tree.

we can accomadate nearly 500 plant minimum & 620 plants maximum in one acre. If you decided to do melia dubia plantations kindly opt seed germinated plants dnt go for clonel plants.

Kindly apply bio fertilizers,fungicide like Tricoderma Verdi,Sudumonus,VAM,MyCin with well prepared and riped cowdung / Farmyard manure .The applying ratio of Bio fertilizers and fungicide will be totally 40grams per tree along with farmyard manure.The fungicide will lives in the farmyard manure and multiplication will happened.An account of this multiplication the entire root system will be covered as shield for some periods.
