how do we produce power from cow dung

IAM into dairy farming, I need learn abt produce power from cow dung.

Iam from mysore. Can Any one help me in this regard?

Bio gas can be produced from cow dung, however it will depends on the quantity of the dung available daily to produce the requisite gas.
Gas can be utilized for lighting, cooking, rnning bore well motor etc.
Cost may starts from 50k to 6 lakhs based on the choice of the model.

You will need lots of gas. How many cows you have?
There are specific biogas generators for producing electricity but efficiency is 50% compared to diesel run sets.
