hai! I want to start a goat farm near ettayapuram in thoothukudi dist.i have enough land for 100 goats. which breed suitable for this area. my think is thalassery. how much to invest for 50 goats with shed.how can i get bank loan?

Kanni breed of goats, a drought-resistant variety reared for its meat, is most common in this region. Thalassery can also be bred.
Thalassery goats TamilNadu: (CBE) price/kg in live = Rs.260/- (pure breed) for Female Goat. (CBE) price/kg in live = Rs.270/- (pure breed)for Male Goat.

For a bank loan, you need to prepare a project report and submit it to the officer at the near by bank.
