Rajasthan might be suitable for Pomegranate, but do take care that the clay content in soil is below 20%. I would suggest to go with "Bhagwa" variety. Tissue culture plants are available with Jain Irrigation. You can contact them directly and they will supply you at our door-step. Warm weather is best for this farming. As pomegranate tree do not need much water to grow so it can survive on low water condition.
Late summer or early fall is the best time for harvesting pomegranate depends on climate.

Hello dear,
Ist you check your soil & water sample if soil pH is ranges from 6.5-8 and water EC is <2 ds/m then it would be suitable for commercial cultivation. Though pomegranate can adopt in wide range of ago-climatic condition but you would not get optimum yield.

Mridula and Sinduri varieties are suitable for Rajasthan condition. Pomegranates require semi-arid conditions and hot, dry summers.
