Default Joint Director of Agriculture -Davengere Dist

Dear friends,
The officer seems to be very affectionate to Media Publicity and indeed he uttered such a wonderful information in his yesterday's Press conference in The Hindu on Jatropha curcas and all sudden faith in this promotion in the District.
The officer says that our Nation has to bear a huge burden while importing crude every year to the extent of Rs90000 crores and he conveniently forget to inform the Press the loss incurred in paying unnecessory Forest staffs and Agricultural officers who just deliver the courier service handing over the feed back in the Press without doing anything to modernise the Farm and Forestory products all these years.
I shout lonely and loudly Dr.Shivamurthappa please do something instaed of just prohibiting in the Press otherwise your Ad. will be added in the Media along with othrs who are after Jatropha promotion to loot the farmers and grab the benefits instead of sincerely implementing any meaningful Projects in action.
Bhadrinath.

Default Jatropha Promotion In Karnataka

Dear friends,
Karnataka is the best place to misled the people in the Press on jatropha curcas with the availability of low priced tariffs in News Papers and seasoned TV channels who talk something and do something for the promotion of Jatropha.
The Govt.Of karnataka is totally against its promotion the way the Hon'ble Gowda told the Press a couple of Months ago and the mere silent spectator role of the Universities in according due recognition for this crop as if Karnatak is meant for some specified crops and community in Agri-culture arena.
The Politicians are making huge money in the name of Education and Sugar mills whereas, they are dead against promoting Jatropha in Karnataka it seems.
The BIRD-K of BAIF in Tiptur also slowly and strongly in favour of these elements the way in their approach towards the Promoters of Jatropha plantation in other states instaed of seriously delivering anything in Karnataka.
No problem, Jatropha needs the basic support of the fuel consumers and not the irrelevant people in Science and Agri-culture.Karnataka is far behind in Bio-Diesel movement except a few Media jokes here and there.
Bhadrinath.

Default Joint Director....

Dear Friends!!!

Iam summoned by the Joint Director of Agriclture Dr.Shivamurthappa today at his office to meet his Asst.Directors and some selective people to explain him on my Mission on Jatropha and Biodiesel in Davengere.

I travelled in my Tata Sumo 2000Model fully run by B100 and reached the Office of The J.D at 3.30PM.Iam almost success once I was called by the officer suomoto! to show him a B100 run car.
Here are some interesting questions put to me by the Honourable officer!!!!
1.why I have chosen Jatropha as a fuel crop?(K.1Jatrophaoils)
2.What is the possbility of Jatropha plantation in the district?(Our opinion)
3.Who will buy the seeds from farmers if planted?
4.Why not other feedstocks say Poongamia???
5.What way the Department shall propogate Biodiesel?
6.What is the Price of B100?
7.How to initiate the Biofuel movement?
8.Why not Poongamia oil for direct injection?
9.How about hybrid varieties of Jatropha?
10.To begin a campaign in the District by using Biodiesel in thier Mahindra van CKK733?

The officer visited my site sometime last weak and suggested me to call on him to clarify certain points and accordingly I was invited by him over phone today and we obliged the officer.

All the questions suggest that the District Administration here is totally not aware of this subject and the Department just want to paste Jatropha in its agenda along with their desired policy to promote Poongamia differing agianst jatropha.

Our earlier posting on the activities here in the Dist. shows so clear that Jatropha plantation is totally at a low stage! I have already written an article here and hence, this reply too in this thread.
The officer presented Two NGOs who brought one liter of Poongamia oil and apprised the delegation that any engine can be injected 100% with crude Poongamia oil! (The serious point not contested)
Its nothing but an immatured camapign to praise someone in Bangaluru...???Obviously to seek more grants for promoting....

As a guest,I did not contest the JD's team in his cabin and instead we arranged 15Liters of free Biodiesel for the benefit of the Department to appear in Press with our B100?
We wish the J.D a very fine success in his latest attempt to begin a fresh on this subject with is trusted NGOs
Its a great honour for me to pour B100 in a Govt.veichle.today though some humilliation as a reward when I heard nasty comments from the JD about Ramar Pillai and Jatropha promotion.
Some Photos were taken(Minus mine) and it was a great publicity for the entire crew of the JD and his team which show managed with a formal launch of a B100 ran veichle.with a banner exhibiting the name of a NGO.
We told the officer very frankly!
Sir!
We do not require any favour from the Govt as for as promotion of Biodiesel and its growth is concerned. This itself a straight answer for the officer for all the questions stated above.
Indeed!
We are in an advance stage of installing a B100 Filling station on our own
in the Dist. "The first of its kind in India" with a small investment.

We expressed our brave ability to continue our fight against petroleum and that too without the involvement of Politicians and their fellow Bureucrats.

Our Missiles to continue!
Bhadrinath.
