Coconut seedlings
Dear members,
some members were posting in this site about coconut cultivations its good yielding crop for farmers and also the farmers were became millionaire.I think its not possible by doing the coconut cultivation.because all the member will observe the rates published in the news papers for example in tamilnadu coconut market one coconut rate is 4@ pollachi,Rs 2.25@ Dindigal,.50@ Madurai.the coconut merchant quote price for only coconuts not certain variety.Totally they will amount for all type of coconuts not breed,variety.An account of this why should farmers prefer the country variety like pollachi,ramnathapuram,ayayampalyam, Singampunari
and rajapalyam the rate very very very less than the hybrid.For example ordinary seedlig cost maximum Rs 25 to 30 we are selling.
Ok we will go to cultivation and its usage .If we can dry the 100 coconuts we can get 14 to 15 kilos of copra(coconut).By drying the hybrid variety coconut we can get 17 to 18 kilos of copra from 100 coconuts.This is the yield we are getting from hybrid coconut seedlings.What is the difference between ordinary coconut seedlings and hybrid seedlings is just only 2.7% more.This is not more yield for high investing.kindly requet our members is it correct or not?
