A 250 acre botanical garden has a opportunity for an Associate Curator of Woody Plants who evaluates, develops, and facilitates tree and shrub collections. Prepares inventories and assessments of the tree and shrub accessions and companion plantings; assists with pest control, monitors condition of tree and shrub plants, collections and associate landscapes; and works with staff to implement routine care and maintenance as needed. Applicants must possess at least two years' experience in tree and shrub management and related collections work. New York State Pesticide Applicators License, minimum of two-year technical degree in horticulture or related field a must.
