We are a
newly formed company dedicated to low cost farm mechanization. With this objective, ‘Angad’ tractor 22 h.p. tractor priced at less than half the price of other tractors, was launched in Nov’04. Subsequently, we have launched a low priced power tiller. A 35 h.p. tractor are on the anvil. We also have a range of optimally designed agril implements.
Our mission is to provide low cost farm mechanization solution for the common Indian farmers and providing extension services in the grass root level for farm mechanization.
We would like to actively aid and assist agricultural graduates to establish agro service centre for custom hiring of low cost fuel efficient Tractor, Power Tiller, and Implements under the ‘agri clinic / agro service centre’ scheme of the govt. Apart from giving all technical and managerial assistance for the project right from the conception stage, we will award sub dealership for our products without any extra investment to these units which will bring in stream of handsome revenue.
The project will have inter alia the following activities:
Custom hiring of tractor, power tiller, implements & trailor for all agricultural operation like ploughing, rotovation, interculture, spraying, water pumping, and threshing etc. as well as for transportation.
Working as our sub dealer for ‘Angad’ range of tractor, power tiller, agricultural implement, and their spare parts as well providing repair & service for the above machineries.
The centres are free to take up any other agriculture related activities in line with the ‘agri clinic / agro service centre’ scheme of the govt.
Our company will assist you in following areas:
a) Preparation of the project reports.
b) Training entrepreneur and his staff on the machineries. Training will be given at our training centre free of cost.
c) For obtaining loans. A corporate back up should be a comfort factor for the banks extending the loan.
d) Providing technical & managerial assistance to establish the business of the centres. We will conduct promotional activities to generate business for the centre.
e) Give sub dealership of our products, their spare parts, servicing without any extra investment.
The financials figure will differ from case to case. A typical case has been worked out by us; the figures are as follows:
1. Total investment: Rs. 3.97 lacs
2. Subsidy: Rs. 0.99 lac
3. Loan: Rs. 2.53 lacs
4. Promoter’s contribution:Rs.0.45
5. Net cash accrual after interest and repayment of debt: Rs. 2.72 lacs per annum in average for 7 years.
6. Debt Service Coverage ratio: 4.49
7. IRR: 220%
The unique features of the project compared to the normal agri clinic are:
LOW INVESTMENT, EXTRA AVENUE FOR EARNING through the COMPANY’S SUB DEALER SHIP, and BACKING of a COPRORATE ENTITY.
