Guys i am planning to get into the field of agriculture as i have a land in my native place which is an hour away from Ratnagiri. I need some guidence as how to go about it. As in what can be grown and cultivated in those climatic conditions and soil what precautions need to be taken. which & what quality of seeds are to be used and where can i get those. I know there are too many questions but really appreciate your help.

Default Seasonal crops

You need to give us a little more details for better advice. Like whether you have good ground water facility, soil type, terrian ( since it is Ratnagiri). based on those details advise can be given other wise it would be futile.

If you have good perinnial water source then I advise you to go for Mango nursery also along with seasonal crops. A well managed nursery would get you not less than 2-3 lakhs per acre.
