Teak and Sandalwood seedlings details

Dear Friends,

I have 15 Acres of land near Madathukulam, Palani Taluk, Dindugal District, in which I grow Coconut trees in 9 Acres, and remaining 6 acres I would like to plant sandalwood and teak plants. If anyone can give me the suitable seedlings variety,details of seedling nursery and cost of it, would be more helpful. I am new to this both plants. I kindly require your assistance.

With refernce to your enquiry about teak and sandalwood cultivation.I wish to say my ideas with my best experience.we are prominent nursery garden since 1994.Sandawood cultivation is the best choice but teak is not good.Because its a longterm cultivation and also if you cultivated the teak the return is very very very less.Instead of teak you go for mangium the austarlian teak.Its a good timber value .You can get the yield from 5 years onwards.Sandalwood cultivation will good yield after completion of 13 to 15 years.Now the present rate sandalwood is Rs 5000/- (minimum rate}.In karnataka government showroom they sell Rs 800/- per 100 grams.For sandalwood cultivation no maintainence ,no pesticide is required.So you go for sandalwood cultivation.We are having the good quality and selected variety i.e fast grow and high yield .much oil content sappligs we are supplying througt tamil nadu.And most of our sapplings are adopted the knowhow and technology by Indian institute of wood science & technology, Dehradun, uttaranchal.We are getting and supply the sandalwood sapplings from wood sceince.For further details please contact

What is the cost of palnting per acre
What is the water requirement
What is the yeild
for sandalwood and MAGNUM.

I hope the sandalwood can only sold to Govt depot as per present Government order, what is the cost they offer per KG. Everyone would like to grow the more beneficial plants, it would be helpful if you could clarify the budjet very reasonal with reality will help me to finalise.
