Hi All,
I am interested in exploring natural farming on a small scale. I would like to know the natural farming scene in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Can any of you suggest some farmer/organization contacts in both these states so that i can get to know more about how natural farming has been adapted locally? regards, Vinay |

Dear Vinay,
Natural farming is a type of farming using the inputs from farm itself and it also resembles organic farming. Hubli-Dharwad Municipal Corporation, Dharwad Zilla Panchayat, Dharwad Media Club and Dharwad Zilla Naisargika Krishi Vedike jointly conducted some work shop in this in Maharastra with the help of natural farming expert by name Subash Palekar. You just try to contact him fo rmore details. Jeevamrutha," a mixture of cow dung, cow urine, jaggery, flour, soil and water, prepared without any expenditure is an important input. Moreover indigeneous seeds and indigenous technology is adopted. If I get any farmers address I will let you know. Regards Surya Narmada |
