Default wind mills to pump water for agriculture

Is there any comoany to erect a cheep version of wind mill. There is high velosity westerly winds in tanjore and Nagai and other east coast districts of tamil nadu. That is the time we grow summer crops like cotton, groumd nut, tapioca and also sugarcane. A wind harnessing for power generation in the village , though it may not be in use throughout the year, will atleast come in handy in the peak power utilising time of the farmers.

Default Gobar gas!!!

Iam interested to know the latest dvelopment in bottling methane from animal dung or sewerage gas in India especially in Karnataka.
To begin with, I have decided to go for the construction of a Gas holder (KVIC Model) at my work site to produce gas for the exclusive purpose of fuel and energy of my own.
I would like to have some informations about the latest methods if any in this Gobargas unit.
Bhadrinath.

Default Gobar Gas

Why government is not helping farmers to identify the right method of producing methane from Gobar gas and we can fill it in cylinders and can be used as LPG. Is there any techonology available in TamilNadu for this?

Default Gobar gas/methane in cylinders.

Dear friend!
Basically the farmers must know the advantage of integerated farming and only then the advanced stage of compressing Biogas or Methane from animal dung in cylinders will be reality!
I have seen myself the advantages of this project right from burning a stove,Lighting, running a engine and indeed the successful transfer of gas to a Maruti Van.
However, the cost of the project to bottle this gas may require a massive investment and still a better alternate to LPG.
Apart from investment the animal waste a minimum of 20-25Mts is a must to design a small bottling unit.
The IIT Delhi and some NGO in Pune are already in this process.
My project is also very much on similar line and it will be over by Dec this year. The fact is everything depends upon the Licencing procedures which depends upon state to state.
Bhadrinath.
