Default It's Official: Organic Really is Better

There has been an on-going debate about organic foods vs conventionally grown food. There was a $25-million study into organic food, and they came up with some wonderful results.

The four-year, European-Union-funded study found that:

"Organic fruit and vegetables contain up to 40% more antioxidants"

"Organic produce had higher levels of beneficial minerals like iron and zinc"

"Milk from organic herds contained up to 90 percent more antioxidants"

They reached their results by running an organic and a non-organic site side by side. They grew fruits and vegetables and raised cattle.

They found that by eating organic foods, you can increase your nutrient intake.

Dr. Joseph Mercola, a top person in natural health, responded to this article. To read what he has to say, click here

This is why I suggest using organic fruits, vegetables, and organically raised meats for your dog. You need to boost your dog's immune system as much as possible, so that he remains healthy naturally and lives the longest life possible.

If you can't feed all organic, at least feed organic organ meat. Try to feed organic beef if possible, because non-organic meat it has so many hormones in it. I feel that non-organic chicken does not have as many harmones, so if you have to make a choice, feed regular chicken and organic beef.

The best of health to your dog!
