    Default Dairy farming....

No Subsidy for Dairy farming atleast this year 2006-2007.
At the most you shall get some Financial assistance from a Bank as per NABARD's guidelines. Here it is!
    Rs12000/cattle
A maximum of One lakh twenty thousand for Cattle shed.
    The Insuarance expenses is yours.
The Dairy project is a sensitive one.
You may have to identify correct and tolerable animals suiting the climate.
You must have your own grass and good potential for Milk locally.
The most important aspect being your readiness to look after the animals without depending on labour.

    Dear Srinivas Reddy,
As rightly said by Mr. Suryananda, Diary farming is a very labourious and sensitive project.
I have burnt my fingers doing this for a couple of years.
    The disadvantages are as below.

High yielding cross breds cannot sustain high temperatures that we have in AP.
Marketing of the product is difficult and supplying to the Government dairy farm vijay will not fetch you the right price.
    Highly labour intensive.
Please discuss with experienced persons before venturing into this project.
