Seeking advise for fund generation for cultivation of medicinal plants

We have started cultivation of Swertia chirata, a medicinal plant, in the Himalayan region of Darjeeling. We are looking for funds to help us with our cultivation and set up our business (including working capital).

We have partnered with an NGO in our efforts. But we have reached a road block as we are in serious need of funds. Can someone please advise me as to how to go about applying for funds. Since we are very new to this business, we are slightly (infact VERY) lost. You advise/help would be most appreciated.
