He has 11 years of experience in herbal plants cultivation, management, marketing, export, processing etc.
Mr. Amol Khandare says the surge in the consumption of unhealthy food items such as junk food, high sugar-containing edible items and beverages and the rise in the working population leaving less time for physical activities is giving rise to a plethora of diseases and the causes obesity in an individual. On other side India’s nutrition market is rapidly developing. Nutrition market (packaged and fresh food included) in India is said to be roughly $4bn (about 10% of global market). The nutrition market in India is expected to grow tremendously in the next five years. Quinoa and chia are very popular superfood which can fulfill the demand of nutrition as per our current lifestyle and to fulfill this demand growers can generate good amount of income in cultivation of these crops.
