Question Who is agriculturist in Maharashtra ?

If father in law of a married lady is a farmer then can the lady by law becomes an agriculturist.?

We came to know that as per the law, in Maharashtra only agriculturalists can buy an agricultural land.

We all are from Maharashtra and My father is a farmer. We want to buy agricultural land in Maharashtra on my wife's name. Therefore would like to know if my wife can be considered as an agriculturist and if she can buy agricultural land.

If main member of a family is an agriculturist then can sons daughters, daughter in laws etc automatically become an agriculturist.

Please answer. We are unable to get proper reply from anywhere. Also no documents available on this.

yes your question is correct only agriculturist can buy land if you are a farmer and you want to buy land on your wife's name you can buy there will be no issue at the time of registration you have to submit your 7/12 extract and marriage certificate.
