Hi Dear All,
I have land 2.5Acres in Karnataka Belgaum district near Kagwad. The land became infertile due to salty nature from last 6 yrs (due to excess irrigation). Now i want to cultivate that land. Water is available for 12months through irrgation system.

So Kindly help me, In what way I cultivate this land? Which crops are possible to grow in that land? Which measures I need to take to make the land fertile in optimum way? Also tell which cultivation projects are possilbe to undertake in this kind of land?

Dear sir,
We will tell you the way in which you will definitely find projects in your
infertile land,,please contact us.

You have salinity land. If Salinity land is treated with zipsum. then salainity can be nutrilised. the land become fertile. The quantity og zipsum and tecnology of adding zipsum in land can taken from the institute i.e Director, Central Soil Salainity Research Institute, Karnal, Haryana 132001. You can write your problum to them, They will surely help you beacuse helping to the fermers is in their mandate.

There are natural ways to remove excess salinity, and regain soil fertility lost through intensive chemical farming. Check out some of Geoff Lawton's videos on youtube, on rain water harvesting, mulching and greening the desert. You probably have to wait for a year or two to fix the salinity, but the solution is permanent not a quick fix. Also look at Subash Palekar's zero budget farming, natural farming and permaculture.
