Dr. Sudeep Tandon, Senior Principal Scientist, CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plant, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh is working on development, designing and upscaling of improved technologies for processing and value addition of medicinal and aromatic plants. Dr. Sudeep Tandon is also involved in processing, isolation and chemical transformation of essential oils, their isolates, aroma chemicals and phytochemicals for value-added products and bioactive molecules. His area of expertise also includes designing and erection of semi-commercial size plants for steam distillation, solvent extraction, fractionation and synthetics conversions etc., for the production of essential oils, their isolates as aroma chemicals, medicinal plants extracts, phytopharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, drug development, etc. for the small scale cultivators, farmers, distillers, entrepreneurs and industries including preparation of techno-economic feasibility and project reports for prospective entrepreneurs.
