Im interested in herbal n aromatic plantation on large scale. N wann some information regardin' da same. I wann knw abt da projected cost n market demand etc.. plz help.

Im totaly new to agriculture projects. Want to start a business of culticating da herbal plant n providing them to pharmacutical companies. Dats wat ma vision is all about. So ma question is wat type of climate conditions are required for dis? about da fertility of soil n wat type of soil is needed? can these herbal plants be planted over the mountainous region o it needs plain area? We have some 30 acres of land but its not plain. its da mountainous region n its a part of Sahyadri ranges. Plz help me wid dis. If herbal plantation is not possible over there then wat types of crops o plats can b harvested in such region??

Ashwagandha - 6 month crop period having the investment of Rs 3 to 5 thousand and net profit of Rs 17 to 20 thousand. Sowing period is from August to September first week.
