Question How to decide the required tractor horse power ?

I have 6 acre agriculture land in Pudukkottai District, Tamilnadu. How to decide the required tractor horse power , because so many model and horse power are in the market.

If your land is having perennial irrigation source and two - 3 crops are taken up for cultivation you may go for 35 HP tractor for engaging it for 750 to 1000 hours of work on the farm for various operations. If short fall is noticed use it for custom hiring for agricultural operations and for transportation.
