Dear Herbarians

We are delighted to observe on the paradigm shift of consumers to natural medicine from Allopathic. That is not only because of the side effects of Allopathic medicine but also a kind affinity towards Herbal based medicines.

But, in reality, we the family involved in Herbal based business /activities yet to cope up with the emerging demand on the sector, especially supply of the basic Raw material – Herbs. The corporate as well as herbal traders are not able to focus on production of herbals ,instead they still depend on wild collection

Quality, Consistency, Active ingredients, Organic approach of cultivation ,Supply- assurance are all a few important factors which influences drug manufacturing companies are not shifting to cultivated sources. Thanks to traders who makes the firms comfortable by supplying the raw materials on a constant -Consistent basis by sourcing and stocking the herbals in appropriate manner. But ,obviously the link between traders and manufacturing firms started getting disturbed, often ,as Traders are not able to meet the requirements.

Samaritans in the herbal sector, now started pondering on production of herbals on contract farming. There are a handful of pioneers who have taken enormous efforts on producing herbals by taking farmers as partners . While the next ,best solution is contract farming,It is apt to deliberate and systematize the approach in contract cultivation

TACED with its long journey on this activities is proposed to deliberate on above topic in the forth coming HBM . slated on 13th June 2017.We have fortunate to have Mr P.R.Kumaresh ,having 20 years experience in the field especially on contract cultivation. Though he is much focusing on Moringa leaves production, he has wide experience in other crops also.

Kindly see the details of the program.
