Advantages of centrlized Solar LED lighting system VS standalone Solar LED Street Lighting Syastem :
1) the greatest advantage of centralised LED Street lighting is that the lights can be switched on even on rainy climate since in the absence of solar power in day time for charging battery will be replaced by grid charging the batteries via inverter
2)As the solar battery and solar Panels are installed in a secured location ,the theft will be minimized
3) maintenance(watering the battery and cleaning PV panel once in 2-3 month) and close monitoring is made very easy as all accessories like inverter,panels and solar batteries at one place
4)In case if the inverter trips owing any reason, this can be by- passed without affecting lighting at Night as the AC led light can be powered from EB mains directly
5) Space requires 10x10 square feet for 1 KW solar power plant
6) The system does not have the same limitations as the stand-alone system. The result is that the solar system can be designed to be as big as required with enough batteries and panels to provide enough power to the lights.
7) The solar panels can be placed away from any shade to optimise power generation.
8) The batteries will be housed in an IP65, well-ventilated battery cabinet which can be insulated to provide maximum protection against heat.
9) The system can easily be equipped with a monitoring device to alert authorities of any tampering or removal of equipment. This will not eliminate the threat of theft but will reduce the response time so the culprits could be caught red handed.
