I am Satish Kumar Duvedi, a retired Electrical Engineer. Farming is my passion. Initially I started growing aloevera as a hobby on my terrace. Now I am cultivating aloevera on two acres of land. Hobby & passion became business now.
Cultivation of aloevera is very simple and easy to grow. Can be grown in almost all types of soil. It requires bright sunlight, less water and well drained soil. Barbadensis Miller is the popular and best suited variety for human consumption. Harvesting of its leaves to get pulp, gel, juice can start after one year of planting. It contains many compounds, vitamins and minerals. You can eat, drink and apply it. This wonder plant is nature's gift to the mankind.
