Dr. Zilleali Haider is the Chief Scientist , Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi. His area of interest in agriculture is small millets, specially finger millet and little millet improvement with respect to yield, earliness, disease tolerance, nutritional value, cultivation, processing, industrial uses and health benefits. He has been working with crop for around four decades on different aspects of the crop including area expansion under finger millet in the wake of climate change.
