Sowbhagya Group comprises of three companies – Sowbhagya Amino Inputs Pvt Ltd., Balaji Crop Care Pvt Ltd. and R L Agriox Pvt Ltd., established in 2003. The group manufactures plant growth promoters, organic manure, micronutrients, bio fertilizers, bio pesticides. Mr. Narayana Rao is the founder of the company. Mr. Rao is an M.Sc (Ag) from BHU.

He has 20 years of work experience in both government and private sector implementing agri related projects. The company is headquartered in Hyderabad. Sowbhagya has a factory in Nalgonda district of Andhra Pradesh while Balaji Crop Care has its manufacturing unit in Cherlapally, Hyderabad.

“Prior to starting my industry in 2003, I was working for different companies which are engaged in manufacturing of plant growth promoters. Being a plant physiologist I have opted for the plant growth promoters and its marketing to begin with an entrepreneur. The cereal protein hydrolysate manufacturing concept has been developed by the Thapar Centre was a unique concept and it was a successful product in terms of its services, process quality and also as a substitute,” says Mr. Rao.

Sowbhagya Amino Inputs : Sowbhagya Amino Inputs Pvt Ltd was the first subsidiary to be established in 2003. The company manufactures plant growth promoters derived from a plant source. The plant growth promoters are widely used on all range of crops as foliar application for improving the crop quality and productivity.
