Medisys India was set up in 1996. “We are representing a group of farmers from Sagar, Karnataka,” avers Dr. G. Ramanath.  The company is engaged in cultivation and supplying of vanilla beans, black pepper and cocoa.

The company is headquartered in Bangalore and has branch offices at Sagar, Sirsi and Mangalore. It also has an overseas branch office at Paris to cater to its exports requirements.

More than 70 % of the company’s products are exported.

Range of Products:
The range of products manufactured by the company is the following:
· Vanilla Beans
· “A” Grade Vanilla Beans
· “C” Grade Vanilla Beans  · Raw Vanilla Beans
· Vanilla Powder
· Black Pepper
· Black Pepper Powder
· Cocoa Beans

Vanilla Cultivation
Medisys has its own plantations in the Western Ghats, where it grows vanilla beans. “We have our own vanilla curing unit, where we cater to more than 150 farmers.  We are associated with societies in the southern part of India who buy spices, like vanilla beans directly from the farmers,” avers Dr. Ramanath.
Medisys grows vanilla beans, which are segregated in 3 grades as A, B and C. The company is an exporter of vanilla beans. “We source all kinds of vanilla beans and export to all parts of the world,” avers Dr. Ramanath.
