Deepa Farm Inputs (P) Ltd. was started in 1987 by Mr. Anil Kumar. It is a proprietorship firm. Deepa Farm is engaged in the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of organic fertilizers, bio fertilizers and bio pesticides including agricultural consultancy service and trainings to the students and farmers. Apart from these, the company deals in marketing of all types of other agricultural inputs like chemical fertilizers, pesticides, growth stimulators, agricultural sprayers, agricultural implements etc. The company’s registered office is located at Neyyattinkara and the administrative office at Enchakkal, Trivandrum. The manufacturing units are in Trivandrum, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The company has got SSI registration and all its bio products are approved by the Department of Agriculture, Government of Kerala, Kerala State Pollution Control Board and Kerala Agricultural University. The company is also certified by Indian Organic Certification Agency, INDOCERT. The company has CIB certificate issued by Central Insecticide Board, Government of India.  Deepa Farm is also an ISO 9001:2000 certified company. Recently the company has got registration from the Spices Board, Government of India. Mr. Anil Kumar, CEO, is a science graduate and has 20 years of work experience. Various Divisions The company has separate divisions for supplying products and services to the customers, dealers, planters, government agencies, societies and farmers. Deepa Farm has a fully equipped and established bio-tech. division, which includes a bio-tech. laboratory, is also functioning under Inputs (P) Ltd. The company has started functioning as a separate Analytical Laboratory for the testing of water, waste water and solid waste, under Bio Tech. Lab. with the approval and certification of Kerala State Pollution Control Board, Government of Kerala. A separate unit of the company has started functioning in Shencottai of Tamil Nadu, and it is also licensed by Government of Tamil Nadu. · Agro Input Division This division deals with the production, supply and service of organic fertilizers, neemcakes, plant micro nutrients including supply of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. o Deepa Farm Gold – Organic Fertilizer: Farm Gold is an ecofriendly organic fertilizer, which is manufactured from sugarcane pressmud bio compost. “No chemicals are added in Farm Gold. It is 100% pure organic bio product. Farm Gold can be used for all crops. For manufacturing this product, the company has a ‘tie-up’ with M/s. Dharani Sugars and Chemicals Ltd. of Tamil Nadu and all the manufacturing process is done at their yard under the control of Deepa Farm,” avers Mr. Anil.
