i am accepting your verson that the nursery maen are not educated.But they are wellversed in cultivation.The sceientist became farmer.Its not a miracle.But in the same time farmer became scientist ,its miracle.for example you know the
Sapotta (chikku) .I think somany varieties are there like calcutta oval,cricket ball,kalipati,pkm -I & II.These are promoted and invented by Agriculturist(M.Sc.,agri).But one variety is called Virdhunagar (the birth place of Sri Kamaraj)In Tamilnadu.From that place one farmer named dhanasukodi nadar ,farmer he promoted one variety thats called VIRDHUNAGAR it was accepted and announced by tamilnadu agriculture university.The telling of agriculture is very simple but very very hard to do the agriculture.So i think more and much experience are burst from nurserymen.because the nurserymen met meet many farners in his place and around the nation.The nurserymen knows about agriculture,arboriculture,horticulture and silviculture.So the nurseymen are bible of agriculture and encyclopedia of krishi of nation.
