Pan and several other interesting, health promoting herbal products, have lost their original value due to addition of substances, not used in the original form. An example is the use of chemical sweeteners and sugar in many herbal products. Sugar is actually doing more damage to the consumer, than the beneficial effects of the other herbs in the formulation. Mitha Pan is one such product, that all the additions like dates, gulkhand, chatni’s etc, have ruined the original product. In order to revive this wonderful, time tested herbal product, we re-investigated the whole reasoning behind the use of Pan. The main value to it is the use of green leaves of Pan. This leaf is to be consumed with betel nut and calcium, to aid digestion etc, however there are reservations on the use of betel nut.

To overcome the reservations, but still keeping in mind the health value of pan, we have developed a sugar-gulkhand-supari free, STEVIER MITHA PAN (SMP). SMP has only 5 ingredients: Betel leaf, Stevia leaf, Fennel seeds, Cardamom and clove. This is a proprietary product resulting from the R&D efforts of ASR Herbals.
