Dear Sun,

As per the prevailing Laws NRIs are not allowed to purchase land in India.

You can invest your money(indirectly) through a Registered Company.

I am actively thinking of forming a Company for investing in land/farming/plantation, Real Eastate and Equity Market?

Incidently, I am also looking for property near Madurai.

Please let me me know if there are areas of common interest.

we have lands near Madurai, say an hour drive on national highway. The soil is red with good water table.
