I am in herbal domestic business from last 7 yrs and trying to find out categroy which has strong export in herbal /ayurvedic industry from India.

Please let me know what is majorly exported from india

1. Medicinal plant in crude/raw form
2. Medicinal plant in process form
3. Finish herbal product like dietary supplements
4. Phytochemical products
5. any other form

also for finish do you need to register yourself in other country.

If any one can help me in gathering any data from any where i would be thankful to him.

Dear Manish,

You must have first of all formed a company and have to go Director General of Foreign Trade for Import Export Code. Then only you can start the Biz on your own.

However i would like to inform you that I am currently having all above compliances done. If you wish we can proceed in partnership business.

Curerntly I am having some contacts overseas & have below queries :-

1) 5 / 10 M.T. of Chamomilae Flos.

2) Abrus Precatorius Red seeds arround 5 M.T.

3) Seeds (for sowing) of Helichrysum italicum subsp. serotinum (Boiss.) P. Fourn. or of Helichrysum italicum (Roth) G. Don

Dear Shyam,

I was reading your post to Manish. Would you also know the requirements that would allow me to export my organic herbicompost biofertilsier which we produce. We are producing 5000 MT of the fertiliser per annum which we are selling in the domestic market. Would like to extend my reach.

BTW, we are also cultivators of medicinal plants found in the Eastern Himalayan region like swertia chirata, rubia cordifolia, piper longum, large cardemom and gloriosa superba.

Please do let me know if you have any ideas. Would really appreciate your help.
