Please Provide me brief information how to start Poultry business and what types are available govt loan facilities, wich require any govt permission .etc
Dear sri Deepaknikam,
First of all decide the type of poultry like layers ( egg production) or Broilers (meat purpose).
For layers capital cost very high requires Rs.500/- bird and at least 50000 to 100000 birds are to be maintained for smooth running of the unit.
For Broilers Rs.250/- bird is enough.
Commercial Banks finance for poultry activity
Government permission is not required if the unit is located in the outskirts of the village or town , only panchayat approval is sufficient.
