Dear Stevia Enthusiasts

I am finding Stevia from China as a major competator. 60000 ha of production and less than 100 rupees for powder is making life tough for all of us.

We must all decide how to deal with this.

Green powder 100 rupess
white powder stevioside is available between 750 to 1000 rupees a kilo, and debittersied stevioside from Stevian Biotech Malaysia is available for Rs. 1500 a KG.

How will you produce these at this price?

No wonder all stevia promoters from Delhi and Mumbai are importing and selling. Traders are showing off as great promoters of agriculture, as a matter of fact it is they who killed this budding business in India. I am tempted to metnion the names of these traders, but let us not get into a word war on this forum, as this is not ment for that.

Yes... all manufacturer who claim they manufacture Stevia In India are Fake as on date 18th June 2008.

Or else the manufacturer who claim to manufacture stevioside and rebaodioside and tablets shall come forward as prove it.

We at Stevia Biotech are also importing and packing in India

But we are already at advance stage to establish very large manufacturing unit in India which will help Indian farmers to get good returns of their stevia crop and too on continious bases.
We are having foreign collabration and long term contract with them to buy Rebaodioside which we will produce in India.

I have already invited farmers, prapogators, Planters to come and join us in this effort which will help Indian farmers and be the part of Stevia Natural sweetener revoluton.

Just because you are selling under the pretext of a so called manufacturer, while you are just an importer / trader, it dosen't mean you doub't the capabilities of others.

And why do you think, one would prove it you ??????

You think you are some consignor OR some supreme authority in stevia business ???? that you will certify that this person has stevia manufacturing facility ????

NO one need's your endorsement to prove the technological capabilites to manufacture stevia in India.

I can see, you are not able to digest that the fact, someone can have a stevia manufacturing facility in india & they don't lend any credence to you.

Just for your information, there are several ppl including overseas buyers, who have visited our plants.

........Ohh!!!! they should have reported to Sourabh Agrawal, the self proclaimed certifying authority in stevia business.

We farmers at this forum are not interested what personal openion one have toward a person but would like to have the details of your manufacturing unit which will be of great interest to sell leaves and buy certified products.

Please in your next responce give the following information for the benift of all members of the forum

Address of your so called manufacturing unit which produces 1 tone of stevia powder every day?

Manufacturing licence ( If any )

Local FDA Licence No. ( If Any )

Price at which you can buy stevia leaves

Every farmer will be interested to sell their produce to you on knowing the above facts.
