Thumbs down disappointment for the replies here :(

Yes Friend,
I'm new to this forum and may be I am wrong.

But I think the main motive of this platform is in threat, as I have observed that, most of the relies comes from the consultants, business houses for the help request queries by various members.

And rarely we are getting the real feedback from the genuine farmers, who lends their hand without any hesitation from their experiences. You will find more than enough replies from these professional consultants, who are here for their business :(

Thank you.

Smile Hello

Dear Friend,

How can u expect from Indian framers to write a blog or to reply on a forum. Very few farmers in India have excess to internet but dont be dissapointed this rate will increase day by day and at a point of time you will se many many farmers on net discussing their problems and sharing their success.

i too am a farmer and is on this forum so pls. be patient .....many more will come.

I adore this forum as this forum has at least taken inetiative to make an Agro based forum where educated farmers like u and me can come and discuss.

Dear Prashant
Thank you for your reply. I'm not expecting the farmers will write blog/reply here. But in almost every thread too many professional consultants are jumping in and asking for money for their help and at that point we are loosing the interest. Its better to ve few replies but from genuine business farming entrepreneurs who shares their experience making this forum a pleasant place.

Default I do agree with "sentiment" of some members

That an eager farmer more often comes across only the Professional consultants who give nothing for free.

Having said that, let us agree that sometimes we really need the professionals. So their presence is equally important

However I do believe that OVER A PERIOD OF TIME, this community will certainly mature and we will have MORE & MORE genuine farmers sharing their experiences & helping the AMATEUR ones.

Misguiding Consultants

-------------------------------------------------------------

Dear All,
I think nowadays there are lot many consultants in the market giving wrong informations to the farmers and thus spoiling the business and making the farmer loose lots of money.
I think from this common platform we should share authentic information regarding them, but it should be accompanied with necessary documents so that nobody is defamed but lot many peoples are saved.
This way we would be encouraging the right peoples to do the right business and eradicate the possibilities of frauds.
Kindly suggest
Regards

It would be a good idea to post personal experiences (not heresay) about fly-by-night and fraud consultants for the benefit of all.

Also, the modus-operandi used by such fake consultants should be publicised widely to enable all farmers take adequate precautions.

Thumbs up Online trainings!!!!

You are absolutely right. However, I believe that on the forums of this particular website, most of consultants come from medicinal, aromatic, fruits and vegetables industries. Among all. majority is from medicinal and aromatic sector the market of which is still not well organized in our country.

Most or even all the crops from this category are still lacking standardised cultivation packages. In such conditions, sometimes, suggestions posted by different consultants may differ as a result of of which members get confused.

Here, I would suggest to website management to start some online training courses of members' interest on the website so that the members could get correct information. Contnents of the courses may include online reading materials, case studies, to the point animations and assignments. For teaching/ tutoring, expert facilitators from reputed institutions/ universities may be appointed and at last a recognized certification may also be offered to maintain the participants' interest. Isn't it?
