E. angustifolia is highly demanded medicinal herb which is used in Homoeopathic System of Medicine. E. angustifolia successfully can grow only in temperate zones, it is quite cold hardy. Almora region comes under the temperate zone and quite cold too. Echinacea prefers a well-drained alkaline soil in a sunny location. Recommendations for pH range from 6.0 to 7.5. Soil of our cultivation site is alkaline and comes under the pH range of 6.0 to 8.0. E. angustifolia is native of America and found in Central Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, and Costa Rica. In India, E. angustifolia is cultivated in natural habitat by Florida. We have used traditional agro techniques with modern equipments and organic bio fertilizers.

(2) URTICA URENS (WHOLE PLANT)
U. urens is highly demanded medicinal herb which is used in Homoeopathic System of Medicine which is growing in cold climates. We are cultivating this plant in Central Himalaya region very successfully. It’s useful in gout and rheumatism associated with urticaria like eruptions, among the rheumatic pains a pain in the right deltoid muscles is very striking. Swelling of breast with stinging burning pains. Diminished secretion of milk after childbirth, arrests the flow of milk after weaning. Uterine hemorrhage, acid and excoriating leucorrhoea, pruritus vulvae with stinging, itching and edema. Skin burns and scalds. Sunburn with intense burning, itching. Hives with rheumatism after shellfish; with pinworms. Itching, raised, red blotches and chicken- fox.
