Punjab Agro Foodgrains Corporation Limited (PAFC), a wholly owned subsidiary of Punjab Agro Industries Corporation was incorporated in July 2002, as a result of restructuring carried out in PAIC to focus sharply on Contract Farming. Procurement of superior or fine grains, Export of Foodgrains and Marketing of quality agricultural inputs viz fertilizers, pesticides and tractors etc



Contract Farming ‘Punjab Agro Foodgrains Corp. has been assigned the activity of Diversification of Agriculture in the State of Punjab. It would provide to the farmers high yielding varieties of seeds from reputed companies, technical supervision and follow-up on agronomic practices and buy-back of entire produce with returns comparable to / better than Wheat and Paddy.

Designation: Technical Officer from September 2006 to Still
Major Responsibilities:
1. To inspect the quality of food grains (wheat, rice, maize, barley etc.) during procurement in the grain market and their storage in the warehouse/godowns.
2. To conduct the contract farming of assigned crops e.g. winter maize, summer maize, basmati rice, barley etc.
3. To undertake work of seed multiplication of assigned crops (hyola gobhi sarson- a member brassica family), its processing, distribution and sale.
4. To promote the assigned agricultural enterprises (implements, machine equipment, appliances, tools, inputs like fertilizers, pesticides, preservers etc.) through work dealers/ demonstrations.
5. To achieve the assigned targets/objectives
6. Inspection of fertilizers during unloading and loading from the rack.
7. Other miscellaneous Office Works.


Present CTC- 250000/- P.A

Represented Punjab Agro FoodGrain Corporation in all fares and Camps held at district level and in other camps.

Achieved target of Kharif Maize contract farming during the year 2007-08.





Sales of Hyola Gobhi Sarson and contract faming of Gobhi Sarson and covered around 350 acres of Gobhi sarson under contract farming in kapurthala district during the year 2006.

Contract Farming of Kharif Maize and did 10213 acres of Kharif Maize Contract Farming in Kapurthala district during the year 2007-08.

Presently also doing Kharif Maize contract farming in district Kapurthala.
