Renewable Energy:Biogas For Cooking/electricity(Replacing Commercial LPG)
Introduction:
India's One of the successful economical renewable energy is Biogas System.Based on our 4 years R & D we developed Adsorbed Biogas storage technology.Based on this technology we can transport biogas at very low pressure in cylinders.
We have choosen biomass based Biogas production.As per our field study which we carried out Biogas production is 20-25 kg equivalent LPG production per acre/day using our Biomass(perrenial grass).
About
Raw material:
Yield: 400 tons/hecter/annum green yield
Dry Yield: 65 tons/hecter/annum
Yileding starts from 45th day
Grass life span: 15- 20 years
Raw material rhizome/seed imported from European country.
Adsorbtion technology
* Adsorbent filled Cylinder of 40 liters capacity can hold 5.5 kg of Biogas.
* Adsorbent was developed by us.
* Biogas can be stored at relatively low pressure(30-35 bar)
* Adsorbed Biogas can be used for cooking/small scale inhouse electricity production.
Note: at present purified Biogas(Methane) can be stored at 220 bar.
Adsorption technology is next generation Natural gas(Methane) storage,Initial R & D happened in University of missouri. based on same process we developed in India too.
Target Industry:
Hotels/Restaurant/Educational Institutions etc.,
Future Growth:
We are in the process of developing next stage of adsorbent so that we ccan use these gases for vehicle fuel(Alternative for LPG and CNG).
As per our field study we can cultivate our Biomass resource can be cultivate all over India.so we can replicate the same project all over India.
Project Cost Estimated: Around 2 Crores
Pay back period: 4 yrs (Interest rate:14 %)
Govt Subsidy: not included.
We are looking supporters/Investors for this above project.
Project Pilot demno can be given at our place.
