Dindigul is very dry area. If you have any water source ie. a well or a bore well with dependent water then i would suggest mango plantation because it does not require much water. Alternatively you can also try silk cotten.

You have a farm Called Anbu Nursery on the way to vatalagundu do visit that farm. You can also get crop information from TNAU Periakulam.

Dear sir,

Thankyou for enquiry about utilisation of the 20 acres land near Dindigul.I think that the climate and soil will some what good for tree plantations. With less water you can opt for tree plantations like teak tissue culture, eugaliptus clones (variety CR 140,144 & E 5),Very fast growing tree variety like Gmelina arborea (kumil Teak) .Kumil is short term cultivation.Silk cotton also very choicable tree for your land .Wiyhout any maintainence you will get minimum Rs 50000/- per acre. But you have seleting the good and high yield variety like Singapore Kabob .You never go for country variety of silk cotton as well as all tree saplings. We are familier nursery garden having best and good knowledge in Arboriculture tree plantations since 1994.
The following tree sapplings are availiable with us .

1.sandalwood seedlings

2.Redsanders fast growing variety

3.Melia dubia (malai Vembu)clones

4.Teak tissue culture

5.Acasia mangium Tissue culture

6.Gmelina Arborea seedlings(Kumil Teak)

7.Eugaliptus Clones

8.Casurina Tissue culture

8.Nutmeg Grafted/Budded (The best choice for intercrop cultivation in coconut gardens/70% shade giving any tree plaantations
