Dear all,
I am planning to go for commercial cultivation of orchids in coimbatore, in the foot hills of western ghats. It will be of great help if the experts help me with the following quires.

1. What is the market potential for orchids? Since there are no commercial cultivation in the area, I am worried about the availability of buyers.

2. What kind of orchids has good market and returns today? Where shall I get trained?

As an initiative I have plans to cultivate in a small scale before proceeding with a commercial large scale cultivation. Where shall I get the planting materials?
