Default Dryland farming

Dear Members of the Forum,

I have 4.25 acres of dryland. There is no irrigation, well, water source or electricity.

I am looking for advice on cultivating commercial crops. My queries are;

I am looking for a 90 day or even shorter commercial crop that can grow without any water on red soil. My query is what quick return commercial crop will grow without any water availability or irrigation. I have heard that urad dal and groundnut can be grown without any irrigation and water with just the moisture from the water table to support

I shall appreciate views and advice of the members of the forum.

regards

KRISHNAN
