AloeVera Plants & advice needed.

Dear Friends,
As I have mentioned earlier I am really new to this field but I am very much interested in cultivation,
I think this is a good place also to receive advice from the experienced Agriculturist ,
I need lots of advice on aloe planting, purchase & yielding of AloeVera plants.
1stly is it advisable for growing in Maharastra near the Western Ghats
Because of the rainfall here is above 1000mm max,
Can this rainfall destroy the crops even after the soil is loamy & well drained,
Can I add coco peat, husk, & hay to make the soil to make it more loamy,
How many times do you harvest the leaves, & how do we know when the leaf is fully matured,
How long do the leaves remain fresh after they are cut & before they reach the factory.
