inter croping for mango

we are farmers growing mango and leechi at orissa at a hight of
1500ft above sea level could you suggest as to what can we plant as inter crop in the open space between plants .we are mostly surrounded by hills we have cool summers and cold to very cold winter most part of the soil is red sandy soil

In mango orhards u may grow satawari(Asparagus), sarpgandha(Rauvolfia serpentina),patchouli,pooja basil and kalmegh.If send age of orchard,irrigation water availability and area under orchard of individual farmer and total area we can be more specific in locating crops.
