How to find Ground water

Dear sir,

Im from Thiruvannamalai Dist Arani taluk vannankulam village, we digged a well (aprox 40 feet) 20years before and full of rock no water during winter little water will come ie aproxx 10 to 15 feet.
Now we are planning to put a borewell we do no where to put and how to find the right place to put borewell.
Which the best and sucess method to find the availability of water level in my land or well ?

There are different people try with their inner sense. Some times it becomes success or failure.
