Bamboo Hut

Hi,

I have 12 acres of coconut farm in tamilnadu near Madurai. I want to put a Bamboo Hut. I would like to know is there anybody who can do that.

The second question is what is the way to build a cool hut without air condition.

Hello Mr Murugan

Building a cool place, a hut with bamboo or any building material basically directly depends on the insulation you are using for the structure. If the insulation i.e the heat exchange between inside and outside through the partitioning material, so if the insulation is good from all sides i.e the walls, roof and floor, then you have a cooler place in summers and a comfortable temperature place in winters. It will also make any type of cooling system you use more effective as it reduces the heat gain of the inside space at the first place. there are possibilities like building a semi basement i.e building a little lower in ground like till the height of your window sills, that is one way. so similarly there many ways to deal with this while designing a structure like this.
