Dear sherncj,

I think rubber is not suitable for Dindigul, because rubber need more humidity, non-windy climate, sloppy land etc...
Try locally successful crops...

Hi
Pls do not try rubber in Dindigul. In India Some part of Kerala only suits the climate for rubber. It is pretty expensive planting rubber.so do not go for a try.

Dear Sir

U first do soil testing, then if these conditions are favourable the humidity can be modified.

Optimum temperatures that rubbers required are between 25° C and 35° C.
Soil reaction on the pH 4,5 - pH 6,5
Land slope <16%
Soil water surface <100 cm.
The elevation higher than 600 m from sea level not suitable to rubber to grow.

U can get some ideas from the below

CHENNAI RUBBER PRODUCTS
NO.49/3, Arcot Road
Valasaravakkam,Chennai - 87
Ph: 91+ 44 + 24862126,24861716
