Before you decide to for any inter crop one should know the soil factors, water avaialbility,market access, financial position, labour etc.At the same time you must also tell us how old is your plantation.Generally you can think of growing any shade loving crops/plants from varieties of crop classification.I can advice you further if you can make available the above listed informations. My Land soil is with 7.8 ph level and its very next to Vaigai river bank. Located in theni district tamilnadu. I use river water as well as bore water for cultivation (no water problem even during summer). Coconut trees are 20 years old. labour's are not much expencive.
