Dear Mr. Nagaraj,
you have to tell the location of farm, soil type, temperature and rain fall for any one to guide you. Next your supervision ability, your investment level and quantum of profits expected.

Any way you can go in for patchouli as one of our friend has already suggested I can give you buy back guarantee and also fund your project partially.Required technical know how also will be offered.
you can go in for banana for higher profits if you manage better and for higher profits.
In the meanwhile I can offer you advice for doubling your coconut yield and return

Default Inter crop in coconut

Mr. Nagaraj

Before you decide to for any inter crop one should know the soil factors, water avaialbility, market access, financial position, labour etc.At the same time you must also tell us how old is your plantation.Generally you can think of growing any shade loving crops/plants from varieties of crop classification.I can advice you further if you can make available the above listed informations.

Regards

krishna

My Land soil is with 7.8 ph level and its very next to Vaigai river bank. Located in theni district tamilnadu. I use river water as well as bore water for cultivation (no water problem even during summer). Coconut trees are 20 years old. labour's are not much expencive.

Thanks,
Nagaraj
