Default To Exporter and People involved in Agri Business

Dear All,

I like to share an important information about how to avoid money loss in our business transaction. I am writing this because many agribusiness ventures also become commercial now.

Recently I received a client who did his export business very professionally. But the major drawback is they did not enter into an agreement. After some years he is suffering from balance payments, that too in some thousands of dollars.

Like this many events happened.

My suggestion for you:

1. Check twice before entering into business transaction.

2. It is not enough to have a MoU. Better always go with an agreement whatever worth is the business. It is always put you in a safer place and avoid unnecessary conflicts.

3. You can also include any Dispute resolution Clause in that. That too verify and check with some known person in the field and go ahead.

If any of our members need any advise in this do not hesitate to contact me.

Regards,
Surya Narmada

Default your advice

Dear Madam,
I am working as agro - consultant for my client from somaliland. If you remember we had exchanged few emails with reference to training organisation in somaliland. I had visited the place and it will take some time to establish the same there.
Meanwhile we have set up a demo farm in somaliland and we are growing vegetables. I am his consultant , and will also be exporting agro inputs , we have not entered into any agreement as such, till now everything is verbal. Please guide me
